Longview vs Lake Travis, 2009, 1st Quarter Part 1

The 2009 Class 4A Division I State Championship for the 2nd year in a row came down between the Longview Lobos and the Lake Travis Cavaliers.

Longview was attempting to win their first State Championship since 1937, after failing to do so in 1997 and 2008, while Lake Travis was looking to win their third consecutive State Championship.

Despite a much more respectable showing than the previous season, the Lobos once again went home empty handed. Lake Travis clinches the three-peat with a 24-17 victory over Longview.
