In addition to creating award-winning educational comics, Manga University also produces the official trading cards for the annual BJ-League Japanese Professional Basketball All-Star Game.

Each season, we interview several of the All-Star players and coaches to find out what they think about the cards, and this year we caught their comments on video!

Yes. there are foreign players (many of them from English-speaking countries) in all Japanese organized sports — including sumo!

I only ask if they have a bachelors degree because I think you need one to be granted a work visa in japan.

I did not know that so many American's played pro sports in japan, so do you need a bachelors degree if you are drafted to pro sports in japan, what kind of visa are they granted.

I know there are some in some professional baseball teams in Japan but are there a lot of native English-speaking athletes in other professional sports teams in Japan?
