Quick-tip: If you want to work with odd colour poi, get a balloon and cut off the narrow section and you can stretch the balloon over the poi head :)

Not a bad idea--but I wonder how the balloon would handle for contact work given that it would have a different texture than the other poi.

Hey drex I have been making my own poi since I started spinning years ago, and one issue I've had is making sure they are the exact same length once I've made a knot in the tether. I was wondering if you had a method you use, to make the poi tether the same length without having to tie and untie till they're the same length.

im so pissed. i ordered all the parts to make a pair on HoP on friday...i wish i had seen this video first. i wanted flowcord SO bad but i would have cost me a ton to order from both sites FML. good video, i still totally intend to buy a couple of these. question: how do you get the cord so stay in the stage ball? do you cut the opposite side open?
