Darcy Ward - 2010 U21 Round 2

Australian teenage sensation Darcy Ward racing in the 2nd round of the World Under 21 Championship of Speedway in Daugavpils Latvia.

Ward won the match and went on to clinch his 2nd title in a row in the final round in the Czech Republic.

Darcy Ward isn't the best gater in the business but his experience on Australia's tight junior tracks has taught him throttle control and how to keep the bike down on the low lone through the corners. He rarely gets into the first corner in first yet more often than not he comes out 1 or 2 places better off. However, being a bad gater is a disadvantage on the smaller tracks.
