Today my dad captured the CP local job G67 making a trip down the branch line over WSOR trackage rights to switch out the quarry near Waterloo.

GP38-2s Soo Line 4424 and CP 4507 power the train, as he paces it west along State Highway 19. Next he got it coming through the small town of Hubbleton, crossing County Highway G.

The train arrives at the quarry, just west of the Peschel Road crossing, and enters the spur to pull the outbound loads. They set these aside on the main, and pull back to spot their inbound train of empties.

  • How do you upload a video more than 10 minutes long?

    Alex

  • They tell you the limit is 10 minutes, but I've found I can go up to 45 seconds longer and the site will still accept it. Literally one frame longer than 10:45:00 and the site will not accept the video.

  • Cool horn. It sounds like a Nathan P3. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • I think you're right, it is a P3. Soo Line seemed to favor that horn.

  • Not that that's a bad thing. I quite like the Nathan P3, just not as much as the P5.
