wow, I gotta say, both versions of this song are awesome, I think people only favor one over the other based on their personal music taste, if you're into mellow rock and alternative stuff, this version is for you, if you're into pop, R&B or blues, then Sade's is for you, but IMO, both are great

This version is quite original... but well... the band made just 1 ofiicial music video... so i think that they should have decided to choose another song than this one...one of their song... i mean... it's not like this song was the only great song they have...

Even if  their version is good... i don't think it was a good decision... they were not 'the soup dragons' they knew of to write excellent song themselves... probably they smoke too much funnyfunkygrass when they decided this...

Hmmm, I kinda like this version but it doesn't do it for me like the original does. The music is great and it emotes very well, but where this misses the mark for me is his singing. Not horrible, but I can't feel the honest emotion behind his words like I can in Sade's. But each person favors one over the other due to their own personal tastes in music and experiences. When I hear Sade's, it makes me wanna fall in love, but when I heard this version, it made me smile...

@uberfunction I've got no problem with you voicing your opinions, regardless of whether you like them or not. The fact of the matter is that you write as though you're above other people (also opinions, I know). Whether or not there is truth behind that is not important because it's rude and egotistical.

@MostYourBase While I am humbled by your assessment (Thank you, I really am flattered), should I be more concerned that you missed the point of this thread completely. And I never stated I did not like the song, but will admit, I did make some critical points about it vocally and semantically. I believe I am (as well as you) are entitled to being subjective about this piece.
