A newly discovered aluminum storage tank from space shuttle Columbia's STS-107 mission will be recovered by NASA from the shoreline of Lake Nacogdoches in east Texas. Columbia broke apart during re-entry on Feb. 1, 2003.

The tank, which held cryogenic liquid for the shuttle's electrical system, was found after Lake Nacogdoches receded because of an ongoing drought. The tank will be taken to NASA Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Building in Florida where the Columbia debris is stored.

This Video File contains an image of the tank from the Nacogdoches Police Department and sound bites from Mike Ciannilli, NASA's project manager for Columbia recovery.
