Cuba was fine under Castro (Fidel) actually. Cubans actually enjoyed more freedoms than most "developed" countries in the West. Unfortunately the Western media likes to exaggerate on the flaws Cuba has. Propaganda at its best. Sure they didn't have all the tech and shit that the West does. But maybe that's because of all the trading embargos? Many Western corporations refused to trade with Cuba and the US even had a formal trading embargo.

70's and 80's was decades of a total destruction of this empire. I think we were lucky to have Solidarity and other little freedoms; USSR was powerful, and that gave people their self-confidence. But it was corrupted, dirty and evil - unlucky it is for now, but now important is not who is in Communist Party but who have the money.
If it's your opinion - OK, but this people, who lives in some fuckin France or US and are telling me, that it was good not being in here - really piss me off.
