She is at the level of Maaaya Sakamoto. Absolutely amazing!!

I do like this and no offense, but I like the original more. However, HIMEKA has a lovely voice. ^-^

marry me !

I admire her so much, trying to become a singer in Japan, being a gaijin, is a huge challenge! But she can do it, she has a beautiful voice and a perfect Japanese accent, fight HIMEKA!

She certainly is someone very inspiring!

@sergel02 I agree with you that music IS universal, and its kinda sad that alot of people don't realize/understand that. If i haven't looked her up i would've never known she wasn't Japanese, as if that would've mattered anyways. This cover was beautifully done!

Wow... this song is so amazing, everything about it is just filled with beauty and brilliance! I actually prefer this acoustic version to the original, thumbs up if you agree!

When I listen this, throughout the song I go through 3 stages. First. I'm in awe of what she's done with herself. Second. I enjoy the song, close my eyes and drift on her voice... Third. I feel like a piece of crap because I will never achieve anything like this. :) But I love her nonetheless.

i hope some crazy ppl stop bashing her or saying she's bad just cuz she's not Japanese. Music is universal. and she is great. I don't listen to a ton of Jpop artists, out of how many there are, but she is definitely one of them.

I have to say, wow. She speaks Japanese very well, although I'm a little surprised. If you practice Japanese everyday, EVERYONE could be like her.
So a French-Canadian can become a Japanese singer? Okay, she has moved me. After knowing her, I think I still could continue my dream to Japan like her XD
Thanks, Himeka.
