this synth is the real deal in sound. sounds SOOO much different than the big 3 ....... if you get a chance to grab a NOVATION SUPERNOVA 2... get it.. its amazing. with the virus. tis INSANE

When I read people saying that the Prophet '08 sounds better than the Virus TI, I have to disagree, judging from the demos you've played on here. The TI sounds much more versatile, IMO.

Every synth you touch sounds golden!!!! You could make a good sum of money doing product demos for synth manufacturers. Your knowledge and playing skills...no bounds. Do you have a CD that I could purchase. I love your music. You mentioned a band you used to be in. Do you still perform outside of youtube? Thanks for all the great videos...Demofactory

Thanks for the kind words. I've indeed reached out to a few synth companies re: paid demos with zero success.
I do have a CD from the 90's that is available, as well as a bunch of free MP3s for download. Everything is at my website at thekeyboardwizard com.
For 18 months I'd been playing in a classic rock band on the weekends, but the group broke up, unfortunately, last month.

im currently using a nord G2 modular synth and a dave smith prophet 08
do you think it would be benificial to just buy the TI snow rack or the keyed version??
is there that much of a difference?

As I recall, if you're doing sequencing the Snow can only do four parts while the other TIs can do 16. And I believe the Snow holds fewer patches than the TI. Never actually seen one myself.
