Elk Grove Village 3 Alarm Residential Fire

A level 3 Box Alarm on 1/31/2009. All Elk Grove village fire Stations responded followed by Elk Grove Township, Schaumburg,Palatine,Hoffman Estates and Wood Dale. Only Elk Grove Village fire department fire apparatus was used directly. The cause of this fire was later found to be arson.

this was so sad, i live kiddie korner (diagnol from the house) and i remember my house was having an addition built on it and we came home and saw the fire trucks going to the house, and we watched the whole thing burn down. the man lived and still does, in a nursing home, and his son or daughter watched over the house, they didnt tell the man about it because it would like break his heart, but it has been re built and another family is living in it. (:
