too bad USAC can't get IndyCar back. F##K the RideBuyers and roadcourses. IndyCar was best with American drivers and Ovals, paved and dirt.

Al Unser ended up winning this race. In fact, Big Al, Carl "The Truth" Williams, Jim McElreath, Bruce Jacobi (RIP), Bentley Warren, and Tom "Bam Bam" Bigelow were the only cars in the 26-car field to be running at the finish. :-)
