Motor Raid - Sega Model 2

Motor Raid was a surprisingly little known arcade game, as far as i'm aware, made as a Manx TT arcade conversion kit.

Recently, Sega Model 2 emulation's come a long way and this game popped up in one of the releases. I remember seeing it as a kid and only ever playing it once, but I loved it. I really, really loved it and never saw it after that day.

Then this came up and I just grinned. In my eyes i've had more fun with this than i've had with Daytona, Sega Rally or any of the other Model 2 games.

So I thought i'd just record a video of it and post it up really. Played on ElSemi's Model 2 emulator (http://nebula.emulatronia.com) and recorded with Fraps.

Not a fantastic run, but enjoy nonetheless.

how do you activate the boost ? I don't see anything like that on the settings command on the emulator.

You need to double-tap the accelerator. It doesn't work with digital controls however, I had to set my analog triggers on my pad up then double-rev it to get the boost working.

when I played this (on the arcade), I was too young and too light to lean the motorbike enough to take the sharpest turns, so my brother (who was only 2 years older) helped me out and pushed it down when I needed it, that was funny as hell to play :D
