Greenpeace's ship, the Esperanza, is tracking the Japanese whalers as we write this! We are very close but we need your help to keep our ship between the harpoons and the whales. It costs a lot of money to keep our ship out in the ocean and $50,000 will go a long way to help us save whales.

  • "They are trafficking whale meat that is not wanted in Japan"

But yet it makes the whalers millions of dollar? I am not an economics expert but that doesn't make any sense!

  • try doing somthing not just watching and trying to sound like heros. action speakes louder than words. the sea shepherd has opened my eyes to this and you might want to take a leaf out of there book.

  • i say to the staff on the green peace boat. leave and join the SEA SHEPARD. other wise your waisting your time when you could be saving whales

  • greenpeace your a load of wimps. i havnt seen you take any action on the harpoon ships. give your diesal from your boat to the SEA SHEPARD. they will make some use of it.

  • What a bunch of lying sacks of seaweed! This video was uploaded in January '08, which was during the '07-'08 whaling season. Greenpeace hasn't been in the Southern Ocean since the '05-'06 whaling season, if I remember correctly. Uploading two year old video like it's new??? LIARS!!! Only Sea Shepherd was in the Southern Ocean in '07-'08, which was the first year of the Whale Wars TV series.

  • SEA SHEPHERD WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN GREEN PEACE.....they actually try to stop the whaling fleet while u losers just watch them and act like big heros

  • haa! this is bs

  • @HolySpringRolls and the cycle of life goes on.... oh wait! no it doesnt

  • Why would the Japanese ships 'run' from the greenpeace vessels? What will greenpeace do, physically harm the Japanese ship's crew? Damage the Japanese vessel? Either way the Japanese vessel and crew may defend themselves.....like by sinking the greenpeace vessel with any means nessesary.

  • "They are re-supplying a fleet that is not welcome in Antarctica and trafficking whale meat that is not wanted in Japan."

Who, exactly, does not welcome them in Antarctic waters? The government of Antarctica, the people of Antarctica, or the penguin army?

The Japanese people are not stupid economists. They do not tolerate failed business or research ventures. Thus, their very presence whaling in Antarctic waters is indicative of the demand for whale meat in Japan. The meat is wanted in Japan.

  • @shortwavecolt

Fish oil I guess, whales has the highest rates of Omega-3 !!!
