Take a ride on board 6259* on route 67 Pharmacy from Victoria Park Subway Station to Pharmacy and Dawes Road.

Powertrain: Detroit Diesel 67V1N with the Allison V731 ATEC, 3 speed transmission.

*NOTE, THIS IS THE LAST EVER BUS PRODUCED BY GENERAL MOTORS BEFORE MCI TOOK OVER

  • The surviving GM Classics, 6221 and 6223 retired by Nov 2010

  • This one 6259 never had Annoucement system, but at least more than few of these get to have them before they were retired.

  • the mbta state agency had gmc rts that retired in 2005 and 2006

  • I cannot believe they retiring them either, I thought Canada is doing great job for keeping the Classics running forever and sucessful. United States Sucks for most of their cities already retired theirs.

    Pittsburgh, Buffalo-Rochester NY, Connecticut and Suburban Chicago (PACE) are the only ones left for Nova Classics. All MCIs are gone out of U.S.
