there is a hell of alot of protection, in fact this one uses more protection than most of the other martial arts, i bet you havent even done karate. dont go off saying things you dont know....

oh ps: in this video there might not have been much protection as i could see aswell but i advise you look at more videos on karate

There is no protection offered in full contact Karate sparring.

But some do put up rules that you can't hit too hard or else you will be disqualified...

yeah idk i dont like this videos either it just looks like they brawl and trough punches and kicks at wat ever man i though karate was more fancy, and it sucks no punches to the face only kicks it looks almost like a street fight i hope i dont offend no one but just my opinion i still looks like is effective though, but it just seems slopy
