David Bowie and John Lennon - Together in 1975 (YOUNG AMERICANS)

LENNON AND BOWIE LIVE..This is the First take of Young Americans with John Lennon Sharing the Vocals. Bowie decided to leave out Lennons Vocals and just use his own after he became increasingly annoyed with the constant smell of Burning Rice, courtesy of Yoko, who was present in the studio (With a Portable Stove) all through the Session. So after one take, they decided to call it a day and concentrate on a new song called Fame (Minus Yoko)

@MrSTEVIERIKS Oddly enough until I read that, due to your vids I did assume Bowie did wear sunglasses on stage. "I said this at the Brighton conference" syndrome, pehaps...

Brilliantly done Stevie, great backing track too - someone's doing a great job of the Sanborn Squeal on that background sax, voices sounding very authentic The "Well, well, well" falsetto bit nearly had you beat, but you got there!

@MrSTEVIERIKS i think they work great with some artists like Freddy in that but as a Bowie fan I don't get the Bowie one, some of your work is so amazing though that's why i've followed your stuff for years now back to the Caroline days. Love you man
