@Zetomat I think ILS is designed to get you close to the runway, then disengage to let the pilot fly the last couple hundred feet manually.

Oh sorry this is Flight Simulator X... the same method can be used in Fs2004

the approach is allright at the ils but it doesn't get automaticly down..
first it work but then it didn't

well i bet you didnt enter the ils freq into your nav1 panal in your radio stack... thats what most people miss out. so happy flying mate
