The Phil Harris Alice Faye show is one of my favorite OTR shows!

Alice Fay had more songs then any female singer in history. In fact it was 1 short of doubling 2 and 3. Dorid Day and Judy Garland were 2 and 3. Listen to the Alice Faye Phil Harris show on the radio. It is truly funny. I was surprised. OTR has several episodes. you will enjoy. alice and Phil would sing a song and the rest was comedy. Funny funny stuff.

Alice Faye (1915-1998) was such a great beauty, like many of her predecesors. She had as good a voice as Judy Garland and Billie Holliday in my opinion. Also, consider some of her co-stars: Tyrone Power, Henry Fonda, Shirley Temple, Dana Andrews, etc. May she always rest in such peace.

Ragtime Band" and "In Old Chicago".
Did'nt she make a come-back in the film "State Fair"? or am I halucinating one of my first movie memories?

Thankyou. Your username reminds me of my very first film projector, 9.5mm film guage of course. It was hand operated until I could afford the optional electric motor. My interest in films has come a long way since!
