[View All Blog Entries] About HEAVEN-RAZAH
Hell-Razah a.k.a Heaven Razah is back! He has risen from the Red Hook section of SouthBrooklyn, New York with his eagerly anticipated first official solo album release. Introduced by Shabazz Tha Disciple and Supreme as a member of the group Da Last Future, which included 7th Ambassador, they pressed up a single independently and recorded a video that aired on local video stations. Hell Razah originated from the Sunz of Man group, who first earned acclaim in 1995 with an independent underground buzz that sparked the torch for a new genre of hip hop music: spiritual rap music. By 1996, they released 2 singles and Sunz of Man sold 20,000 copies independently before Priority Records stepped in for the release of the album. The album was delayed and the group was bought out by Red Ant Records/BMG. By 1998 the classic album THA LAST SHALL BE FIRST was released and sold 350,000 units. The album featured platinum artists including Earth,Wind & Fire, Wyclef, Method Man and O.D.B. Due to unfortunate circumstances, like the bankruptcy of Red Ant Records, their careers were placed on hold and the individual members were practically buried alive. Hell-Razah kept himself in the game with various guest appearances with albums from the GraveDiggaz, Gza, GhostFace, Wu-Tang Killa Beez The Swarm, Killah Priest, Method Man albums and many others which all sold at least 500,000 units. Hell-Razah continued to build his solo career, doing live performances, video cameos, and DVD appearances, and even being featured on Showtimes American RapStars, which was in heavy rotation in 2002. Hell-Razah proceeded to release an internet mixtape that sold 5,000 copies independently, called When All Hell Break Loose. Capitalizing from the buzz, Sunz Of Man recorded their second album Saviorz Day on D3 Entertainment, the label which later went bankrupt after selling 40,000 units. During that period, Razah also worked with Jenny Frost from the Atomic Kittens in the U.K. and I AM from France. He also was on tha Million Man March Compilation, O.D.B.s Trials and Tribulations of Russell Jones and U-Gods Redemption album. Never one to relax for long, Hell-Razah then teamed up with famed Wu-Tang producer 4th Disciple and recorded their duo album Freedom Of Speech and formed the group Ghetto Government. Then he joined forces with Killah Priest, Tragedy Khadafi, and Timbo King to create the masterpiece Black Market Militia, was released in 2005 on Nature Sounds Records. After touring overseas with R.A. tha Rugged Man, Hell-Razah then hit the studio to begin the beginning of his Rennasiance Era and to complete the long-awaited project, and his official solo album,Renaissance Child which showcases his maturity as an artist and that he is consistently one of the most talented, yet underrated m.c.s. RECENTLY released on BABYGRANDE Records featured on BSBD/RAZAH'S LADDER a back to back classic album for 2007 Hell-Razah is reborn and ready to drop some project political jewels and paint some revolutionary vivid pictures complemented by the most incredible production that can compete with anything existing. The way he blends the streets with scriptures and reality he makes you feel like Jesus was in Brooklyn. On the song the Black Holocaust he says: Children of Zion was choked by the yokes of iron Now they screaming let bygones be bygones And burnt icons Before they whitewashed everything bronze And told the Israelites They took away they right to bare arms .

  • @MrDewg you replying to a year old comment...wow!.

and what are you talking about?

    i mean whats your point...

  • @supreme7g - i dont think its about the hate... were all products of our environment. To add to that sometimes things become desperate n u gotta do what you gotta do... I'm talking from my own experiences. Not that i grew up in Brooklyn, but I know what its like to have to hold your chin up and stand your ground from a very young age... its a jungle out there in some neighbourhoods, u shouldn't talk shit about situations you are ignorant of... u obviously have lived a sheltered life, g4u.

  • @kzemc Goos answer. You must be well educated.

  • Corner of 9'th street.. Used live there back in the day..

  • If you walk through a neighborhood like that, have no fear. "Thugs" will smell that shit on you and have a field day. Stand up, chin up, respect. This is some real shit.

  • jordan river banks.....most underrrated producer..... he made this beat.........GODZWRATH

  • This is sick...I'd expect nothing less from Razah and shabazz

  • @EsotericOccultist No. I'm not proud of those people. Fortunately, there are very few of them.

  • @hannityforpres dont u like people who are colored? In germany we have some trouble with migrants from afghanistan irak turkey and stuff like that, but i would not say that all migrants or all irakis are like the ones who make trouble. The skincolor is fckn unimportant believe me.

    Great music by the way^^
