These are really good irons, obviously old hat now but ive just purchased my second set for 270 quid with the ns pro stiff shafts in.My first set had projecx 6.0 in but i never knew where the ball was going. But long, really long 230 yds in normal conditions with the 3 iron, but you really do need gap wedges as the wedge is around 47 degrees in the set.

How can you compare the JPX 800 and the Cobra S2 forged? I've done a fitting with the JPX 800 and also the S2 forged and liked both almost the same.

I'm in the same position as you razzer, I have dropped 10 shots in 8 months. I have a set of Callaway x16s, but my swing is improving and want a more advanced set. My Local Pro and my Dad (a 5 handicapper) have suggested getting some player clubs, I have been thinking about Ping I15s :/ What do you think ??
I love you videos.
Dan :)

Thanks for all your help

First off, congrats on the improvement. 14 strokes in a year is quite a feat
Personally, i play Pings so i do have a bias. The S57s are great if you can handle them.
As a 26 HCP, i would say Ping G15s, Taylormade Burners and R9's, and the Callaway X-24s would all be great clubs to look at

other than a softer feel, what benefit does the forged iron bring over those that are not forged?

No planes testing the Nike VR irons? Maybe VR Forged Split Cavity Irons?
Yes you would defo need to think about a gap wedge with this set.
