@doloresb749 I lost my dear first husband on Dec. 3, 1995, 2 days before our 10th anniversary, and still have a hard time. I think i always will.

@Saleencv Believe me, I know what you're going through! I lost my husband On July 16, 2010! It's still hard when you hear songs and music you both liked! The tears still come but not as easy! I guess I'm getting stronger! God Bless!

You got that right. Groupies come in all age brackets.
What a pile of crap, but great music anyway guys!

@lomertamahon1 Me, too, and it was great then, too, wasn't it? Current musical idols seem to care more about their image, their appearance, than the music. Look at Burton. His lack of affectation actually works to his benefit; the way he looks is down to earth and gritty, just like his music.

I'm probably dating myself, but I remember this when it first came on the radio.

this is TRUE . . . 1968 in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba . . .
. . . it cost us an amazing 75 cents to see them live!!! TRUE STORY!!!

This song has always and will forever affect the young and old throughout.

@Saleencv too bad you couldn't have told your story to the real band. in 2007 the version touring did not include the writers or the original voice of the Guess Who, just the rythmn section. Try looking up officialburtoncummings on myspace and telling Burton your story. I know he will be touched.

what it makes me happy :D

I saw the Guess Who last Summer, when they played in Kennewick, Washington. I gave the band a memory of this song (these eyes) that they will never forget. I lost my husband 7 weeks to the day before I saw them play, and this song hit me like a brick wall, and told them (save for a couple of minor points in the song) it perfectly described my feelings, and believe me, I cry every single day.
