It is interesting that one of the requirements for the office of President specified in the Constitution is that he must be a "Natural born citizen". The rationale was that this measure would lessen the possibility of foreign influence in american affairs. It is interesting that the influence of the Israel Lobby on American--and in tandem--EU policies, has managed to do a skillful end-run around the intentions of "The Founding Fathers!"

If it was a conspiracy - its one of the most stupid ones - of course nobody can rule out stupidity as foolishness knows no boundaries - but I do think its a Russian provocation & trap and not the other way around. I might be wrong of course.
