  • Hi Melinda. When I click on the plastic effect, nothing happen. I saw in the video when you click on the plastic effect there are different wheels for you to choose.

(none of my effect works, when I click on animal, plastic, or wood effect nothing happens), no wheels or colors for me to choose to choose. Also your frame look more like 3 D and mine look more like thick flat rectangle. Did I forgot to do something that make mine look flat or because my software is malfunction?

  • The plastic effects in that video were actually made in DSA 1. Just email me at lovemyzombie@yahoo.ca just note it ends in CA and not com and that way I can reply to you with photos showing how to get the plastic effect in DSA 2 without using the plastic effects, since they were replaced in DSA 2 with solid colors. So basically what I will be showing you is a work around.

  • Thanks Melinda for the our video.I tried the above frame. Toke me some time and a few booboos....hi,hi!

But I found that when I use plastic to give volume to the frame and antelope, I do not have no1no8 in plastic. I just have this icons in different colors. So when choosing no1 the colors changes too. I would not have bought the program if it was not for the videos, because I cannot read and figure out what to do next without SEINIG what to do. Thanks again.

  • The clear plastic effects were in DSA 1 but in DSA 2 they replaced them with solid plastic effects. If you email me privately I can tell you how to create your own clear plastic effects. :)

  • You first need to apply the antelope effect and then convert to bitmap, now you can apply the plastic effect to that. :)

  • A most helpful tutorial for Drawplus X4. You break down the info into steps which make sense & are easy to follow. Hope to see more videos from you in the future.

    Thanks

  • I have just watched your video on creating the "I Love You" Frame. Havent attempted this as yet but will do. I would like to know after the frame is created and dragged to frames in that particular scrapbook project if I then start another scrapbook project is this frame stored somewhere on computer so I can add to my next project or do I have to remake it. Hope this makes sense. Sandra

  • @lovemyzombie hi please could tell me how to create the plastic effects in your video tutorial

  • WOW! The possibilities are endless! You make everything look so easy Melinda!

    Thank you!

    Hazel xx

  • wow this is really good. thanks very much.

I have a problem trying it out - once I change the square to bitmap and change to antelope, i cant do the plastic effect on top of it. it looses the first effect and becomes only plastic effect. Am i missing something?
