Definitely dying. Fish don't always just go from being healthy swimmers to dead. Some times they go through a process of not swimming/staying level and they float around, swim sideways, u[side, etc. @GoodGoog; fish do swim to the top of the water. They do it in the wild to get bugs and small fish at the top. I have 2 catfish that swim to the top all the time and, in a sense, get air from the top, as well as feed from the top.
um ... the fist is dying ... and fish don't swim to the top of the water ..... and do things like this if they are dying .. please let the person talking in the back ground know that...
I don't like when people make up stories to fill the void of lack of knowledge.
