Casting into a small hole when this 2lb trout hit me,what a rush-At frist I hooked a small brookie ,then I got my line snaged in the tree , when I got unsnaged this guy chased my lure out of the water,I tried three times( got a look at him once) before he took my bait. Did not think I was going to get him to come out from under that tree again,but he went for it...

  • Here we sometimes call them sea trout, but it is a sea run brook trout...sorry

  • Don't drag trout on rocks..takes their slime off then he get open to infections like whirling dis.

  • @cookiesfishin ok, I take your word, normally seatrout over here (uk) have darker spots - but your trout looks like what I would say is typical brook trouts marks. Maybe this is typical to this river but congrats all the same. It's always a joy nomatter.
