A trio of Warbonnets are in charge of the Z CHCSSE, a priority intermodal train from Chicago (Cicero Yard) to South Seattle, Washington. BNSF 622, 661 and 769 aren't wasting any time as they highball west of Big Rock, down the former BN main.

A big thanks goes to basicbill1 for letting me know that the train was on the move at Aurora.

  • great catch! long live Santa Fe and the Warbonnet scheme!

  • @CRSD60I Thank you! Long live Santa Fe, for sure.

  • Beautiful catch! Nice shot with the mirror effect!

  • @dwkcamman611 Thanks! I really liked the result from that.

  • Excellent rare catch you got there. Makes one wonder how much longer BNSF will keep the remaining Warbonnets around. Santa Fe all the way!

  • @theup3985 Thanks much. They don't seem to be in a huge hurry to eliminate them. No complaints here!

  • @BNSF9250 I was pretty excited, from the moment I left the house. Heh.

  • @NicTrain35 and harder is to be in the right exact perfect mood to enjoy it.
