A loving tribute to my beautiful grandson Jonathan, who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at 5 1/2 weeks old on August 22nd, 2007. We will always love him and will never be the same. We miss him so much.

my heart goes out to your family. no one deserves this pain... and its sad to see people who are so heartless... its people like that that makes losing an innocent child like that so sad... there are more hurtful and terrible people like that that seems more worthless!

Thanks to all the kind words. This tribute is my way of always remembering the special moments we cherished so much. Also to reach out to others who also understand. We are never alone.

Comments do not need to be posted in response to evil people. They have no heart and will never understand what losing someone so special is about. My time is to precious to spend on negativity and hate. As our family continues to heal I would like to wish all a Happy New Year!

So sorry for your loss. Was your grandson a premie? Sadly SIDS is very high in premature boys. My son was born at 28 weeks. Today he is 15 years old. We just lost my sister-in-law on June 13, 2008 four hours after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl so we know your heart ache. I will keep you in our prayers

Yes, Jonathan was born 5 weeks early. He gained weight and went home a healthy baby. We just miss him so much. I am very sorry for your recent loss. How did your sister in law die? How devastated your family must be. I pray you all find comfort in her daughter. Thanks for your response.

i can totally relate, my daughter was 4 months old when she passed away from sids. she was born 12-12-94 and passed away on 4-12-95 and havent dealt with her loss as til this day I dont know how to. but hes sure a handsome lil man. sooo sorry for the loss and pain you all had to go through.

He was the most beautiful babyboy I have ever seen. I had twins 5 wks early and almost lost my son cause of immature lungs. I cant even begin to imagine the pain ur family is going through, and his momma, I feel for her and will pray for her. Thank you for sharing this.
