Second red giant phase into a planetary nebula (the blue stuff). The outer layers blow away, then what is left is an exposed core, the white dwarf.

For school astronomy project, which I did pretty horrible at because I can't talk in front of people. But my animations were pretty cool. This one is probably the worst, but I was over it. And the project was getting too big and kept freezing the program. Frustration won out and I quit.

Used these again for my speech class and pretty much nailed it... but stupid school computers can't comprehend a QuickTime .avi in a PowerPoint. Totally ruined the flow!
