  • Wanted to say two things: 1. thanks for the support and interest.

    2. sorry for the embarrassing typing error in my nickname (in other words, I do know how to spell 'shepherd')

  • Hey Guys.

My family run a small non-profit charity called the AWF which is situated in the Canary Islands. We really would like it if people could like our fan page. Like SeaShepherd, which the AWF is a huge fan off, we think of every possible way to show that we care for our enviroment. Please, please "like" our fan page on facebook

please search on AWF on facebook find us and like. Just make sure you get the right one... we're 786 and counting...

  • Just a shame the Sea Shepherd doesn't carry torpedoes.

  • Japanese primarily target Minke Whales. They are listed as a Non-Endangered species of Least Concern.

Their quotas are set based on the previous years survey estimate of whale population and is set at a limit that will ensure sustainability.

There are approximately 500,000 to over a million Minkes in the southern hemisphere. Japan are allowed around 800 whales a year but in 2008 they only got about 500 whales. 500 whales out of a possible 500,000 is not going to put whales to extinction.

  • I am anti-whaling... I am anti-terrorist... Brazil is a conservationist Country... Japan? The Japanese demons (whalers) murder the whales, the angels of the sea. If Japan was a just country with the LIFE and followed the example of Brazil, the whales would not be in extinction! That predatory whaling stains the Culture of Japan! Is whaling a culture? It is a murder culture!

  • the Antartic treaty states that its is for scientific research not for killing whales brutally....

  • because of people like you the world is suffering now, the japanese people brutally kills whales to collect "tissue samples" if they did that...why are the whlaes killed? it is not illegal to protect animals someday you will wake up and realize that the world is destroyed, no aniamals will be alve and everything because you support son japanese guys who are murderers

  • Trying to make a change it's not terrorism! I admire this guys...if trying to stop whale murders is a crime then I support it because that is trying to make a change.

ANTIESPECISTA !
