Record Guinness? Male tortoise, 35 tortoises female family!

Since 1997 Milo and Cheadale have had 19 daughters and since 2005 their daughters have had 15 babies. They are 35 female tortoises in the same big family, i guess it was possible for the natural incubation conditions in my patio.

Desde 1997 Milo y Cheadale han procreado 19 hijas y desde 2005 ellas han tenido 15 bebés. Son 35 tortugas hembras en la misma familia, yo creo que esto fué posible por las condiciones naturales de incubacion en mi patio

yes, but the male i have from the time of 1984, when he was born (in very bad conditions) and i was 4, is my partner and friend. Then, a neighbor give me a female tortoise because she couldn´t take care of it, and now i have this beautiful family. In Mexico there isn´t a problem for that, while take care and reproduce that protected specie. But in this these days is illegal to pick it up in the highways or in its natural living. Is no illegal when somone give you for take care of it.

Cada quien opina lo que le da la gana, si en el video tu ves otra cosa, estas en tu derecho de opinar. Yo ya dije la verdad, las tortugas se encuentran perfectamente segun veterinario de Houston, llevan una dieta rica en diente de leon, malva, ciertos tipos de zacate silvestre, nopal, tuna, algunos vegetales y suplementos vitaminicos y se estan tratando las 5 que te platique. El espacio es grandisimo en casa, asi que yo no tengo duda en lo absoluto de que esten llevando un trato decente.

El especio en que las tengo es grandisimo lastima que en las fotos que les he tomado como todas se juntan pues solo sale el espacio que ves alli.

I can see that their shells are pyraminding already so that is NOT a good sign. It means their diet is improper.

Nice group, what species? I raise Sulcata's, and regularly spray them down with water, though they are naturally from near the Sahara, their borrows are moist. They eat plenty of grasses and weeds, with no pesticides whatsoever, sprinkled with D3 fortified Calcium. I feed them on sifted, crushed oyster shell, inexpensive and a great source of calcium. I see your tortoises get plenty of sunlight, they are a lucky bunch. It's great to see them thriving so well. How about some live footage?

muy tratadas, en perfecto estado, se nota que la persona que las cuida, es una persona realmente responsable de la vida animal, se que es muy dificil es cuidado para q nascan de el huevo ,y que se les vaya esa panza que tienen en el caparazon de abajo, qsde se alimentan de eso mientras estan en el huevo y lo tienen como unas 2semanas o menos.

ademas es hermoso, y seq los machos a partir de los 15 años empiezan a morder,poreso es que se quedo con las hembras.
