What will the world look like in 2030 ? What will the dominant trends be? Is it possible to start influencing tomorrow's world today? These are the questions preoccupying the Young Global Leaders.
They come from the fields of politics, science, art and business, they are all under 40 and they are all working on solutions for the future. The "Young Global Leaders" international platform is a project instigated by Klaus Schwab, founder and president of the World Economic Forum. The 5-part series "2030" profiles the Young Global Leaders' ideas on health, education, environment, work and tackling poverty. In this week's episode, three of them present their ideas on the subject of battling poverty. They are: Pekka Himanen from Finland, a teacher and researcher in philosophy, Carlos Danel from Mexico who helps small businesses with microfinance and Arthur Mutambara, a member of the Movement for Democratic Change in Zimbabwe.

Investment, technology, empowerment..you forgot entrepreneurship. We might have the tools but what drives people is the desire to create. You could be born anywhere, make it a fair world is a great point. I love this video!
