Great video, but using the term 'drug' is kinda incorrect in this sense, they don't all work in the same way. The kind illustrated here are simply receptor antagonists, because they block the receptor to prevent the neurotransmitter from binding. You can get receptor agonists which work in the opposite way and stimulate the downstream effects, more so than the original neurotransmitter.

A depressant would stop the neurotransmitters, but what about a stimulant?...
