I've put together a "showcase" video that you can see what types of sites are available to install with Bluehost. You can watch it here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJCZRyPd9pc
This current video is a screen recording of the OS Commerce installation. To make this work, I usually recommend getting your free domain name as a domain that includes something to indicate that there is a secure checkout. something like www.securecheckout77.com or some number, etc.
This will allow you to register another niche-specific domain as your primary method of marketing, then install the shopping cart with the secure domain pointing to your securecheckout. You can leverage that same secure domain with multiple shopping carts.
It is a bit of a run-around, but in the end will work well for secure hosting and checkout if that is what you're wanting to do.
Good luck. Let me know if you have questions in the comments and I'll get those answered.
I am an affiliate for BlueHost which means that if you use my link to signup, they'll give me a percentage of the signup fee. This is a nice way to say "thanks" if you've found my videos useful... a nice way for some "karma" to go around ;)

Thanks for your help! Just want to say, when I type bluehost.com into my browser I get a deal for $3.95 per mo and your sit when I click on it offers bluehost for $5.95. Is there a way to sign up under you and get it for the current price?
Please let me know. I would like to give you the credit.
