You're Mine! At Long Last You Are Mine!

What to say about this one. Well, on the plus side, John no longer thinks that he's Roman. However he now thinks that he's a priest instead. *sigh* It's all Stefano's fault... Oddly enough, in this instance his confusion is a good thing, as Marlena has, by a quite remarkable coincidence, chosen this point in the storyline to get herself possessed by a demon. And who better to save her soul from eternal damnation than a not-priest who happens to be a). superhuman, and b). completely besotted with her? Let's be honest, such creatures don't come along often. Let battle commence! Sadly, Demon!Marlena seems more fond of talking about fighting than of actually getting on and doing it, but there's still a fair bit of action here. And no, it didn't end as badly as it looks, which is a pity frankly, as I think I'd rather have enjoyed J&M's journeys though hell. It would have made for a good spin-off.

Nice throttling sound effects, btw. I quite like them. Less sure about the didgeridoo, but there you go. And no, I don't know what she says at 0:46 either. I'm guessing it's not what it sounds like. ;)

I loved this story over the mere fact that he was willing to trade his soul for hers. 'Take me instead'.

I also love how desolate he is when he thinks he's let her down and lost her forever. Such love, and they were only friends at this time. So amazing.

Angst is good. They should so have had the pair of them lose temporarily, and get sucked down into hell. Then there would be angst *and* fighting. And demons, and lakes of fire, and monsters. Every day. And J&M could take it in turns to rescue each other, as they struggle to find their way home.

I may be warming to this idea a little too much. :D

What classic suds! I loved this s/l just because it was SO off the wall and gave Deidre the perfect opportunity to chew some major scenery, not to mention proving that John & Marlena would always be together...no matter what! Aaaah.....remember when Days was actually worth watching? Well, no more. After January 23, it's all over!
