I don't use it when take-off and landing. I think, when take VDO or Photo when everything ok it should not have problem.

It doesn't matter lah. Even plane is old but their services are great and professional with a Thai hospitality. That is so nice and better than most asian carriers such as SQ,MH,CX,EK lah! TG is superb lah.

@maxbravo Actually, video recorders, players, etc... don't, in any instance of flight, affect any instruments. There've only been a couple of incidents and they haven't been able to prove they happened because of the use of electronic equipment on the main cabin...

WARNING do not fly Thai Airways economy class, old planes, inedible food, in flight entertainment a joke get the wrong seat you have to crank your neck 90 degrees or watch the next screen some 20 metres away, the only time I flew with them the plane had to make a unscheduled stop in Delhi for repairs (fuel smell in the passenger cabin) meaning 5 hours sat on the tarmac with no air conditioning. Thai are falling way behind over airlines EVA are far better and around the same price.

i dont get why the 777's of thai have individual tv;s and the 747's dont it gives me the shits -_- bsides the 747 is bigger than 777's and yet they dont put tv's on itt

i agree.....most of thai airways fleet are already old.....i flew them once to LHR but would never fly with them again!!!! i would rather choose etihad!!!
