what about when a child outgrows these shoes? the shoes end up in a landfill? what problem did that solve? what about the underlying problems of corruption, land misuse, and sanitation? This seems to be taking advantage of western guilt about the third world.

Dear TOMS,

I've been on the TOMS journey and movement for about 1 and 1/2 years now.

I am a vegan. I do not want to wear dead animal skin. I want cordones. I want cords. I want botas. But no, I can't have them and help other kids while doing so because the feature to customize your insole isn't real.
