I founded a dog rescue, The Dog Liberator, and have rescued hundreds of dogs, yet my son asked me to help spread the word to help his classmate, Gabrielle. Since this video, Gabrielle is declining rapidly. She is in and out of the hospital, not able to lift her head or speak, and her prognosis is poor. Gabrielle Laverde has been diagnosed with Niemann-Pick Type C disease. Only 300 cases of this terminal disease is known in the U.S., and only 500 worldwide.
