It was #1 for 4 weeks on the Billboard Top 100 chart and was on the chart for a total of 16 weeks; it reached #27 on the country chart; and #6 on the rhythm & blues chart. It was the A-side to Fame and Fortune. I just recently re-wrote "Broken Hallelujah" that Leonard Cohen originally sang and I sung it in more of an Elvis-esque style and with my own heart and soul conviction.
