If James Brown ever had a seizure, this is what it sounded like! Little is written about guitarist Mamou, but apparently he's alive somewhere & still performing--Mexico? Hawaii? His recorded output consists of this sole 45 for Capitol and one unrelated religious LP a few years later. This record has one of the absolute worst B-sides ever pressed; a goofy guitar & sax instrumental adaptation/rip-off of Boots Randolph's "Yakety Sax" called "Yakety Fikes" (huh?), and is just wrong in every possible way.
