  • i know what you mean, i'd rather be in Japan right now myself, feasting on about 30 of those sticks in a small ma and pap style izakaya -_-

have you ever eaten them in Japan? everybody makes them a tad different, but they always turn out to be awesome! sweet or salty and smokey fresh from the grill *drools*

man, i can't wait to get back to Japan again T_T

  • @stefan5445 Well, I've only been to Japan once and that was back in 2002 and I think I had Tonkatsu, Japanese Curry and at street vendors some sort of mini pancakes with red bean stuffing or cheese stuffing most of the time, varying from 5 to 10 centimeters diameter a piece (the 10cm version was mostly two layers with spread inbetween, instead of stuffing, though) as far as Japanese food goes.

For the rest I had Chinese, Italian, the teriyakiburger at McD and some KFC, MOS and Wendy's.. :/

  • @stefan5445 So all in all I did not get to enjoy these little sticks :[

Would love to do so, though..

But yeah, would love to return to Japan as well some time!

Unfortunately my cashflow does not quite agree so far :S

But somewhere in the future.. yeah, I sure will return there and have them sticks, as well as many other great stuff!

Oh by the way, back in 2002, I flew Austrian Air and had a layover of a couple of hours in Wien. Not long enough to exit the airport though :P
