@caleb20tx I'd think that metal would retain more heat because it is a better heat conductor but I might be wrong.

Screw 'em. Who cares what the cables look like? As long as they aren't getting sucked in by fans, you're fine. It's a frickin' soulless machine. The case, however......

next thing you need to do is work on that wiring man. I am currently working on a wooden case myself but since i hear that they retain alot of heat I am installing 4 fans along with it and managin my wires nicely. I would love for you to message me and give me a few pointers on how to build the frame.
