Uhm... On japanese TV they kind of joke about the english language! It's not offensive. Also, rosie odonell's comment wasn't really about chinese language it was about how there was news so big going on that everywhere in the world people would be talking about it! Sure she doesn't know chinese or anything about the language... but china is well known and glorified! It was all in fun and truthfully just highlights China's rise to dominance in the 21st century.
