Gisèle Blondeau, principal double bass of the Bochumer Synphoniker (Germany), makes her debut with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Südwestfalen (Germany) under the conduction of chief conductor Russell N. Harris.
Great rendition. Not an easy piece. I'm learning it. I don't use traditional Simandl technic. I use bass-guitar fingerings and it seems to be easier. For example if ther's 4 chromatic notes(BCC#D ON THE G STRING), I play them 1234. Does anyone else do it I know Gary Karr does it
Gisèle, I never tire of listening to you. I look forward to hearing/seeing more of your work. Blessings to you on doing a great job and making it look so effortless!
@tomorocko It's not like there's a musican anywhere in the equation... :P
