okay. First of all, sorry for the screen, there is LOTS OF STUFF in my living room so I can't put the camera in place. Second, there is sound. It's just that Equinox's soundtrack isn't really loud. I have to find a way to get a better sound other than putting all the soundtrack one by one x_x Third, don't waste your time telling me to use an emulator, I just won't. I only use emulators to test games, ROMs are illegal and you have no clue if I'm using a cheating device, if it's really me playing, etc.

Now, onto the game itself.

Galadonia
This dungeon is pretty simple as long as you get used to the IsoRPG. It's not too big and the twelve tokens are often in group of two, three or even four. There is also a lot of apples since the spell Heal is in the lasts rooms of this level.

You'll have to watch out for those blue spikes, yellow/greenish and blue ghosts inside of the dungeon. Overworld, you'll run into Galadonia's werebats and trolls. Note about the trolls: when you get a new weapon, go beat one up. It'll slightly increase your number of lifes.

The boss, Bonehead, doesn't need many hits to be killed. He will, most of the time, move around the room. You'll only need a few tries to predict where he'll be going. Occasionally, he will also become a bit transparent and will send you two ghosts and you'll have to kill them in order to continue Bonehead's beat up.

Thanks for watching! :D

  • I used to love this game. Awesome soundtrack, but it was so hard because none of the damn platforms had shadows so you couldn't tell where they were!!!

Have you uploaded parts 2-9? I can't find them.

  • No, not yet. I had computer problems lately and my camera is dying. They should come some day though. :3

  • teh rom isnt illegal because u own the game

  • The last one is so freak DX It's so annoying xD

  • wait till you see the later dungeons

    :D

  • hehe yes ^^ you have more luck finding it on eBay than anything else. The other time I was looking for Solstice and when I told the person the game's name she was all like "What the hell are you talking about?"

  • Yeah Ive noticed that this game is a little tough to come by too. Ive only ever seen it in a used video game store twice, both of which times I bought it.

Im guessing that it didnt sell that great, which is unfortunate considering how much work was put into it.

But, its obscurity is one of its many charms, at least in my opinion :)

  • I totally agree with you. I'm actually surprised I got to get this game. I can't find it anywhere over here. Too bad the SNES is out dated now, we can't make people know the Solstice serie much =(

  • Excellent video, and description! It's great to see some non-emulator footage as well!

It's such a shame more people aren't aware of this fantastic game!
