wow thats amazing! i just bought this camera, i should be getting it in the mail by friday!
i used to own the Canon S2, when i would record and take a picture while recording, the pic would be blurry! when you took a pic, it was stunning!!!!
was there a certain thing you did for it to do that? i need as many tips as i can get for this camera, i just cant wait to play with it! =D

Actually, they are not poison... they are rather rare and beautiful. You are lucky to have seen one and caught such great footage! She'd have died soon anyway... they don't live very long... :(

next time when you zoom in turn the ois mode on to stabilize the image

It does take pics while taking video, BUT the pics are lesser quality than using regular picture taking. Also, it causes the video to momentarily freeze while you take the pic and when viewing the video, you see that slight pause each time you snapped a pic at the same time. I have this camera.

Of course... if you want great pictures, with flash, take it when you're not taking any video.. that is obvious. The effect is that, if you don't want it in your video, just don't take the picture while you're recording.
