This is an uptempo version of Bukka White's "Jitterbgug Swing." Booker T. Washington White, who was known to the world as "Bukka," was a cousin of B.B. King. He lived a good bit of his life in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Side Street Steppers are Ms. Vera Victoria (ukuleles), Tennessee Tom C. (guitars, banjos, mandolin, kazoo, etc.) and Mississippi Slim Pickens (upright string bass). http://www.myspace.com/sidestreetsteppers
