DRIVETIME CHAT: BAD NEWS: Episode 7

The severity of an offense is determined by the one against whom it is made. Therefore, the truth that we are all guilty of sin against an infinitely holy God is bad news, because it must merit an infinite response to satisfy the supreme justice of God.

The problem we have is that we are MASTERS at convincing ourselves that our sin is not that bad. Like the 18-year-old girl from Florida, we need to come face to face with the reality of our sin. Here's her story:

Today, I hate my sin again. I appreciate the rememberance your arguement gave me. Jonathan Edwards said something like this once: "When sin found opportunity, it killed God." When offend an infinite God, we earn an infinite punishment. This is hard for me to accept, but I see no other way. May God be glorified. Can't wait for the good news chat. Thanks.

Probably do. The pasor's message are recorded every Sunday and posted on the church's voice blog. I haven't thought about it much. I'll ask about it.

But if we don't discuss such things, how many more teenagers will go to have their "procedure" done?

Speaking of lies, let's talk about "women's reproductive freedom."

The term "freedom" is not fit to describe a lifetime of haunting guilt.

The phrase, "women's emotional SLAVERY," offers more truth in advertising.
