Noonday Underground-London

I am attempting to post videos of my favourite songs from the last ten years or so. This was a track I discovered via Uncut Magazine. I also thought it time to pay a token respect to my home city. I know little of the band other than that the lead singer was also part of Morcheeba. This track is a wonderful swinging piece of music that pays (in part) homage to the London of the sixties. However, the undercurrent of 'getting your cash card and spending hard' suggests (to me at least) something more than just hedonism. The track is avaible from the album Self Assembly. I love this song...first heard it on that Uncut cd too. Can't find it now though, great to hear it again.
