  • @envagelium I think the levels in Sparkster are better and the Bosses more creative. Rocket Knight was just a harder game that usually focused more on memorizing where the enemies in the levels would be.

  • @envagelium Of course this is a matter of preference. I personally didn't like the original's styling, but that's just me. The big sprites were nice, but Sparkster has a more mature look.

  • I like the music on this stage.

But originally, I wouldn't try this game. I don't think I'd like it if I downloaded it to Kega Fusion.

  • Though, I DID like this game (then again, 2/3 of the games I play, I like), it does feel a bit ... empty ... if ya know what I mean. Maybe it's the game play, though I don't know how game play can make a game feel empty, but something about it seems missing compared to its counterpart, and I could feel that while playing through it the first time.

  • yes it was. hopefully the remake for the PS3 will be as great as the first one :D it looks more like the first one at least

  • I couldn't agree more. I mean... the snes had a better sound proccessor. but!!!!! the sound buffer on the snes didn't allow crisp sounds to be played. but!!!! it was what allowed the crisp noises in the Genesis, that made it so some sounds were heavily distorted. so... it was a hit and miss. but... on those games that it was a hit on. I can't find myself enjoying the SNES versions of the game. (like the first earthworm Jim I can't stand on the snes, it's just too clean sounding)
